“It was not a very successful trip but we still saw faint green light. However this isn't why I'm rating this as 1 star. The tour guide Michaela PROMISED to share photos with us which had little aurora lights in the background. The tour company EastWest are now claiming it was an unsuccessful tour and refuse to share OUR photos, OUR memories with us via email as promised. Very disappointing experience false promises I'm still waiting for these photos, as I will not get a retrial as we will not be returning to Iceland again. Shame even our photos and memories we can't have”

“We had our tour with Klaudyna and it was fantastic. Once she checked all our medical safety details she put us at ease and looked after us to get prepared. We had a really warm van to change and get the first layers set up. She knew exactly the right size if suits we needed and got us ready. “If I could give this trip a negative star I would think about it. The equipment they used was old and beat. The tour guide was a bit surly. I didn’t think he had good accountability of the group the whole time sand could have probably used a little help.The experience was good. Very scenic, but I wish I had booked another operator. Let me give you one small example… bugs were terrible. Other tour operators let their guests use net hats to keep bugs off their faces. Our operator had his own net hat but he didn’t have any for the tour members to use and we were miserable.…”

“This was my favorite experience so far in Iceland — a must-do if you can manage! The drysuit is cumbersome, but it’s very buoyant and easy to swim in. You’ll have to be a bit patient with getting set up, but it’s well worth it! The fissure looks exactly like the pictures. Mickey was the best, and I loved our girl group. A lot of reviews mention the water temperature: Brace for the worst, but I promise it’s really not that bad. The tour drew a great mix of solo travelers, as well.
