“Really cool experience. All of us caught a lot of fishes (10+), mostly cod (average 1,5kg, the biggest ones about 3kg), some haddock. Part of the fishes were grilled right away and served with grilled potatoes. We set free the excess fishes. This trip is not suitable for those easy to get sea sickness. I ate some ginger pills beforehand and felt fine (I am prone to getting sick), but there were those among us who stayed down in the cabin and couldn't come out on deck to fish.”

“We went about 6-9 minutes between catches and we caught alot of large fish. The lunch on the boat afterwards was excellent, fresh fish we just caught, potatoes and great sauce. Iceland is all about the sauce.,”

It was really too cold for much activity (end of April), so we didn’t get many fish, but he was patient in teaching me how to cast. “This was one of the highlights of our trip! Absolutely enjoyed every minute on the boat. We were on the fish right away, and when it slowed, the captain was quick to move us to another stop. Our group caught so much fish, they didn't even cook it all. They cooked fish for us to eat on the way back to the port. Eating the fish immediately was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about the crew, lunch, and this excursion in general. I would book it again if I am lucky enough to go back to Iceland in the future.”
